This is a unique first day of school, and one that is bound to have some bumps and glitches. Remember that we are all in this together! This first week is all about figuring out the problems in order to fix them, so please reach out and let us know how we can help make this work for you. Call or email your child's teacher, the office, or any member of our administration team.
Together We Soar!
We are rolling out a new Distance Learning tab on our website. This will be a great shortcut to finding your teachers' Google Classrooms!

Hello Soulsbyville Family, even though it is Summer we are thinking of you! These are difficult times and we all have our own stories to tell about what those difficulties have been, but hopefully it helps to know we also have our shared story as Falcons, as Soulsbyville Family, where no one of us is as smart as all of us! We are working hard to get our students back on campus and genuinely appreciate your feedback on previous surveys. We know you are waiting anxiously to hear what school will look like when we come back in August. We don’t yet have a definite answer, but there are three possibilities for our reopening:
1) Independent Study for all students - please see the linked flyer for details: https://5il.co/ibj7
2) Soft Start - this could be a later start date or an A/B schedule with Independent Study as an option; or
3) Traditional Start on campus with safeguards and protocols to minimize risk, and with Independent Study as an option.
To be transparent we are preparing for all three possibilities, but absolutely hoping for a traditional start. Considering Tuolumne County circumstances have changed since our last survey, we would like to get an update on your thoughts concerning these possibilities. Please follow the survey link https://forms.gle/qZBeo5AGbjMwHGyr6 and respond with one reply per family. Thank you!
We would also like you to meet a new member of our Falcon Family: https://5il.co/ibj8
Thank you to the Monsen family for your generous book donation! Our students and staff will enjoy them.
Book donations help keep our library up to date and full of new reading choices for our students.
I want to give a BIG shout out to Eli Waters as he received special recognition from Cal Fire, Tuolumne County Garden Club, and US Forestry Service for his artwork. He won 3rd Place in the Smokey the Bear Art Contest!!! Awesome Job Eli!!!

Third grade Falcons have been using their prior knowledge and creative skills to learn about adaptations. Briella’s camouflage collage represents the natural world using an artistic model.
We are in this together even though we are far apart. I “love” these photos from February. We worked in triads, practiced collaborative learning and continued to build our classroom community. #letsallbewell #stayconnected
