The library held a pumpkin character contest. K-5th grade was invited to participate in this contest. Each individual class collectively decorated a pumpkin like one of their favorite book characters. The week of Halloween we had staff vote on their favorite pumpkin. This morning I counted the votes and Mr. Baer’s class won! They will receive ice cream cups for their prize. Check out the pictures to see who’s class made your favorite book character.

A staff member asked me the other day if our school library takes book donations. Absolutely! We accept gently used children’s , teen and YA ( young adult) books. Please sign into the main office before coming up to the library to drop off. We would love and appreciate your donations. It keeps a great selection of literature and media circulating through our library for our students to expand their reading.
